Job summary

TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center in Tennessee is seeking a Registered Nurse for Medical-Surgical units to provide direct patient care and coordinate with a multidisciplinary team. The RN applies the Nursing Practice Act, supports patient safety, administers medications, monitors conditions, and educates patients and families as part of the care plan.

This role requires current TN RN licensure, BLS, and ACLS within 6 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Licensure with Tennessee Board of Nursing.
• Current BLS certification.
• ACLS within 6 months of hire.
• 1 year of clinical nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess plans and evaluate patient care needs; carry out physician orders.
• Administer prescribed medications, change dressings, clean wounds, monitor vital signs.
• Monitor, record and communicate patient condition using documentation systems.
• Educate patients and families as part of a multidisciplinary care planning team.
