TriStar NorthCrest Medical Center in Springfield, Tennessee is seeking a Med Surg Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care on the medical-surgical unit. You will collaborate with physicians and the care team, and ensure adherence to standards of practice to achieve positive clinical outcomes.

This role requires an RN license and Basic Life Support within 30 days, plus an associate or bachelor’s degree or RN diploma.

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree, or RN diploma.

Responsibilities

• Assess the patient's condition during admission and each shift, reporting changes promptly.
• Administer medications, monitor response, and document care in the medical record.
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care and respond promptly to patient requests.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up steps.
