Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Med-Surg unit at Anderson Hospital. The role focuses on delivering high-quality nursing care and coordinating with the interdisciplinary team to address medical and surgical diagnoses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing (preferred).
• One year of RN experience (required).
• Six months RN experience in an acute care hospital setting (preferred).
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• BLS required or preferred upon hire; ACLS acceptable in lieu of BLS.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Collect vital signs, administer IV medications, and assess patient condition.
• Evaluate, update and revise plan of care to achieve outcomes.
• Administer medications in a safe manner per policies.
• Other duties as assigned.
