Job summary

A healthcare staffing agency is looking for a dynamic Medical Surgical RN to provide care to ill, injured, and recovering adults. This role requires a compassionate and reliable nurse who can make clinical assessments and manage treatment autonomously. Applicants must have at least 1 year of RN experience in an Acute Care environment, and hold or be able to obtain a Florida RN license. Basic Life Support certification is required prior to start. Qualifications

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida, Multistate or able to obtain licensure prior to start is required.
• 1 year of RN experience in an Acute Care environment preferred.
• NIH Stroke Scale must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or situation.
• Educate patients regarding their medications, procedure and treatments.
• Ensure effective care and use of time, supplies, and equipment.
