Job summary

The RN will supervise nursing assistants, perform assessments, develop and implement plans of care, and ensure patient safety and effective teamwork across the healthcare team.

The role requires Illinois RN licensure, BLS certification within 30 days, and a College Diploma in Nursing.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in Illinois (IDFPR).
• BLS within 30 days - AHA.

Responsibilities

• Performs all unit-specific duties and responsibilities.
• Maintains up-to-date documentation of nursing care.
• Completes initial patient assessment and develops a care plan.
• Implements and evaluates nursing interventions and procedures.
• Ensures patient and employee safety and reports hazards.
• Delegates tasks to nursing staff and validates completion.
• Administers medications following the 5 Rights and maintains safety standards.
