Job summary

Domnovate is seeking a Registered Nurse (Med/Surg) in Sitka, AK for a permanent, full-time position. The RN will provide comprehensive patient care, perform assessments, administer medications, and coordinate with the care team to ensure safety and quality outcomes.

The role requires an ADN, active Alaska RN license, and current BLS/ACLS/PALS Certifications, with competency reviews every 3 years and high-risk competency annually. Sitka-based facility with diverse clinical needs.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in the State of Alaska.
• Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) are all required.
• Clinical competency within 3 months and every 3 years.
• High Risk Competency required within 3 months and every year.

Responsibilities

• Provides professional nursing care across the lifespan in accordance with standards and policies.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Administers medications and treatments per orders and policy.
• Documents assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic health record.
• Collaborates with providers and interdisciplinary teams to promote patient outcomes and safety.
