Our Client in Sitka, AK is seeking a Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse for a permanent, full-time position. You will provide obstetric care across labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum periods, with fetal monitoring, newborn care, and on-call duties as needed.

Qualifications include an ADN, AK RN license, and required certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP). You will join a multidisciplinary team focused on safe, compassionate patient care in a rural coastal community.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in the State of Alaska.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications are required.
• Clinical competency within 3 months and High Risk Competency yearly.
• Alaska license must be obtained/active for direct hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides comprehensive patient assessments and develops individualized plans of care.
• Delivers maternal/newborn care during labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum.
• Administers medications and treatments per orders and policy.
• Maintains documentation in the electronic health record.
• Ensures patient safety and coordinates with interdisciplinary teams.
