Responsibilities

• Assist provider and clinical staff with obtaining vital information and preparing patients for examinations and procedures.
• Demonstrate clinical competence to carry out assigned duties.
• May draw blood and collect samples for lab analysis.
• Apply the Nursing Process within licensure guidelines.
• Provide and document telephone triage and home care guidance.
• Administer vaccines and medications by oral, IM, SQ, or ID routes.
• Place urinary catheters and IVs per protocol and license.
• Schedule referrals and complete requisitions for referrals or labs.
• Document in the EHR using standardized workflows.
• Supervise delegated duties to LPN and CMA per approved protocols.
• Perform other duties to support clinic operations.
