• Demonstrate competence in clinical skills and carry out assigned duties
• May draw and collect blood and specimens for lab analysis
• Apply the Nursing Process within licensure guidelines
• Provide telephone triage and follow-up calls regarding patient health
• Administer vaccines and medications by oral, IM, SQ, or ID routes
• Place urinary catheters and IVs per protocol
• Schedule referrals and complete forms for referrals or labs
• Ensure compliance with precertification requirements
• Maintain documentation in electronic health record
• Supervise delegated duties to LPNs and CMAs
