University of Southern California is seeking a Registered Nurse for its 5 North Med/Surg unit in a full-time, 12-hour day shift. This role supports leadership, delivers comprehensive patient care, and ensures safety and recovery through the nursing process.

The RN will collaborate with physicians, nurses, and staff to improve unit services, participate in quality improvement, and mentor new hires. Licensure, BLS/ACLS, and NIHSS are required; BSN preferred with up to 5 years to obtain.

Qualificações

• Graduation from Registered Nurse Program.
• BSN desired (if not upon hire, will obtain within 5 years preferred).
• 1 year clinical experience in an acute care setting preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide nursing care per the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, interventions and evaluation.
• Lead and support patient care team; mentor new hires and validate competencies.
• Plan and coordinate delivery of patient care for shifts; ensure efficient services and quality outcomes.
