Job summary

Monterey Park Hospital in Los Angeles County seeks a Registered Nurse for the Med/Surg Unit. This is a full-time, 12-hour day shift reporting to the Director of Med/Surg. The RN provides care, treatment, counseling, and health education to hospitalized patients, coordinating care from admission through post-discharge.

The role requires CA RN licensure, BLS/ACLS/PALS, and English proficiency. BSN preferred; one year acute care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing program; BSN preferred.
• One year of acute care experience is preferred.
• Current CA RN license required.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification from the American Heart Association required.
• Proficiency in both written and oral English.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate care from admission through post-discharge.
• Meet and exceed CDPH, The Joint Commission (TJC), and other regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with all members of the multidisciplinary team to provide outstanding customer service.
