Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in the state(s) served; multi-state compact accepted.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; other certifications may be needed per specialty.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care and apply evidence-based practices.
• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care with patients and families.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts plans, mobilizes resources, collaborates with the care team to improve outcomes.
• Upholds a culture of safety and ethical patient care according to policies.
• Maintains accurate, timely documentation in the EHR and participates in education/certifications.
