Job summary

Kettering Health in Beavercreek, OH is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our physician office team on a full-time, first-shift schedule. You will prepare patients, assist physicians, manage calls, and contribute to safe, efficient patient care.

Required are an Ohio RN license, ADN ( BSN preferred), ACLS and CPR certification, and strong communication and teamwork skills. Epic training is a plus. Join a not-for-profit system dedicated to improving health in southwest Ohio.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in State of Ohio.
• ADN or equivalent experience; BSN preferred.
• ACLS and CPR certification.
• Excellent communication and teaming skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patients and examination rooms, taking initial medical history for the chart, taking vital signs.
• Assist physician in special procedures, including minor surgery as required.
• Receive and handle phones calls as directed by physician.
• Accountable for his/her own professional development and practice within the scope of care defined by law.
• Any other duties relating to the business operation of the medical practice that may be assigned by the physician(s) or practice office manager.
