Job summary

Qualifications

• Licensed in Ohio as a Registered Nurse.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (NLN, ACEN, or CCNE).
• BSN preferred within 5 years of hire.
• A refresher course may be required for nurses returning after a 5+ year pause.
• BLS certification is required.
• ACLS/NRP/PALS as determined by unit scope of practice.

Responsibilities

• Apply the nursing process to assess and plan care for patients with collaboration from health care colleagues.
• Maintain accountability for professional development and practice within legal scope.
• Advocate for safe patient care, including delegation of tasks and participation in performance improvement.
• Deliver nursing care in alignment with Kettering Health Network's mission, vision, values, and nursing philosophy.
