Job summary

Adventist Health in Marysville, CA seeks a registered nurse to assume responsibility for a group of patients during a night shift. Qualifications

• BSN preferred and acute care experience preferred.
• RN licensure in California (state of practice) required.
• BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications required.
• TNCC and neonatal resuscitation requirements for specific departments.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, design and implement an individualized plan of care for assigned patients.
• Collaborates with physicians and the health care team to coordinate patient care across ages.
• Delivers patient education and discharge planning as part of the care plan.
• Maintains safety and quality by following policies and reporting observations timely.
• Delegates tasks to CNA's and student nurses based on competence.
• Documents assessments and nursing interventions and administers medications/IV therapy.

Education

BSN preferred

Acute care facility experience preferred

RN licensure in state of practice required

BLS certification required

ACLS certification required

PALS certification required

TNCC certification required

Neonatal Resuscitation required (Labor & Delivery/NICU)
