Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania or compact state
• Minimum 1 year of recent travel nurse experience in Med/Surg
• Tele nursing experience required
• BLS certification (American Heart Association) required
• Experience with Cerner EMR preferred
• Ability to float to Medical Surgical Telemetry (MS Tele) unit as needed
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Med/Surg RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to Med/Surg patients, including post-op surgical, bariatric, and oncology cases
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments
• Monitor patient status and respond promptly to changes in condition
• Utilize remote telemetry monitoring systems with monitor tech support
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Accurately document patient care in the electronic medical record (EMR)
• Float to MS Telemetry unit as required
