Job Title: Travel Registered Nurse – Med/Surg Telemetry
Location: Philadelphia, PA 19140 (Pennsylvania nursing jobs)

Hours per Week: 36
Shift: 12 Hour Days (3 shifts/week)

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania or compact state eligibility
Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Med/Surg Telemetry
BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary healthcare team environment

Med/Surg Telemetry Nurse Responsibilities

Deliver direct patient care to adults on the Med/Surg Telemetry unit
Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms; respond promptly to changes in patient status
Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions as prescribed
Accurately document patient care in the electronic medical record (EMR)
Educate patients and families about care plans, procedures, and discharge instructions
Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes
