Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Med-Surg RN in Texas to deliver compassionate patient care on a dedicated team. Earn $27–$46 per hour with shift differentials and a comprehensive benefits package.

You will admit and monitor patients, administer medications, provide direct bedside care, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Texas (or compact state eligibility).
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN).
• Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred).
• Minimum 1–2 years of acute care or Med-Surg nursing experience preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including days/nights/weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans for adult medical-surgical patients.
• Admit and monitor patients, including vital signs, symptoms, and post-surgical recovery.
• Administer medications, treatments, IV therapies, and manage medical equipment safely.
• Provide direct bedside care, wound care, pain management, and patient education.
• Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and specialists for coordinated care.
• Document patient progress accurately and maintain compliance with all standards.
• Support pre- and post-operative care while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Respond to changes in patient condition and participate in unit-based quality initiatives.
