Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Certified Nursing Assistant, Certified Medical Assistant, Emergency Medical Technician, or nursing student with one semester of clinical completed is required.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic nursing care activities as delegated and supervised by an RN, including monitoring vital signs and glucose measurements.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, and eating.
• Reports abnormal findings or changes to nursing staff.
• Keeps patient rooms clean and orderly and supports unit workflow.
• Demonstrates flexibility and multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
• Acts as liaison between patient care units and other departments.
• Answers calls and communicates information to staff, family, and patient.

Education
