Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent education required.
• Six months of direct patient care experience or completion of PCA externship/internship.
• BLS certification required (AHA).

Responsibilities

• Perform basic ADL tasks and patient care under licensed nurse supervision.
• Carry out hourly rounding to address patient needs.
• Document care and report observations per policy; respond to call lights.
• Maintain and stock equipment and supplies; assist with workflow.
• Communicate with patients, families, and interprofessional team clearly.
