Job summary

Advocate Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC is seeking a registered nurse (RN) to join the Med/Surg Overflow unit. You will provide patient-centered care across the continuum, collaborate with the care team, document thoroughly, and uphold professional standards in a dynamic acute care setting.

Requirements include graduation from an approved nursing program, active RN license, BLS, and at least 1 year of clinical experience; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing program.
• Active, unrestricted RN license (multi-state compact and/or state-specific).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• At least 1 year of clinical nursing experience.
• Additional certifications or experience may be required based on specialty.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, patient-centered nursing care across the continuum by leveraging the nursing process.
• Collaborate with the care team, maintain accurate documentation, and support quality and safety initiatives.
• Maintain flexibility to float as needed and uphold professional standards and ethics.
