Advocate Health in Winston-Salem, NC, is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse to provide patient care in the Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center system. The role emphasizes nursing assessment, care planning, collaboration, and safe, evidence-based practices.

The position requires a Board of Nursing‑accredited education program, an active RN license, and BLS certification. You may work days with rotating weekends and holidays, with duties across units as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active, unrestricted RN license with privileges to practice where the RN is providing care.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsabilités

• Engages in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care and apply evidence-based practices.
• Uses nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement and evaluate care, engaging patients and families.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, mobilizes resources, and collaborates with the care team to improve outcomes.
• Upholds a culture of safety and maintains accurate, timely EHR documentation.
• Float to other units as needed to meet patient care needs.
• Provide age-appropriate care and adhere to department policies.
