AdventHealth in Florida is seeking an RN to assess patients across multiple dimensions, develop individualized care plans, administer medications, and educate patients and families. The role emphasizes collaboration across medical teams, accurate documentation, and ongoing professional development.

The position requires an Associate's degree in Nursing (Bachelor's preferred) with 1+ year of acute care experience preferred. Fluency in English and strong communication are essential.

Qualificações

• Fluent in English (read, verbal and written).
• Ability to work as a team member within a unit.
• Strong verbal and written communication and problem-solving skills.
• EKG competency as listed in requirements.
• Basic computer skills and ability to navigate Windows-based programs.
• Ability to apply abstract reasoning to assess patients and revise care plans.

Responsabilidades

• Assess patients across physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual and lifestyle factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans and continually evaluate and revise them.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately per physician orders and protocols.
• Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, meds and self-care.
• Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate patient care and ensure effective communication.
• Document patient information, care, interventions and outcomes in the medical record.
• Evaluate care effectiveness and adjust plans to improve outcomes.
• Ensure infection control and safety regulatory compliance.
• Provide emotional support and therapeutic communication to patients and families.
• Supervise and delegate nursing care to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Engage in professional development and performance improvement activities.
• Respond promptly to code situations and stabilize patients.
