Job summary

Emory Healthcare is seeking an RN Clinician Educator to support staff development, onboarding, and competency across clinical units. You will apply adult learning principles and collaborate with the Nursing Professional Development Practitioner to deliver education and quality improvement activities.

This on-site role includes mentoring, coordinating onboarding, maintaining LMS records, and supporting transition-to-practice programs for new graduates.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited prelicensure BSN.
• 2 years of recent clinical nursing experience.
• Valid, unencumbered RN license approved by the Georgia Board of Nursing.
• BLS certification; multi-state/compact license within 60 days if virtual care activities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with orientation and onboarding of new staff and new graduates at unit level.
• Support development and documentation of onboarding activities with the NPD Practitioner.
• Coach preceptors and mentors to improve onboarding experiences.
• Manage competency activities and identify learning needs with unit leadership.
• Deliver continuing education using in-person, e-learning, and simulation-based methods.
• Maintain staff education records in the LMS and align activities with quality initiatives.
