Job summary

Corewell Health's Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids is seeking a Nurse Tech for the Med Surg Care Unit 9C. You will work 36 hours weekly, primarily night shifts (1900-0730), supporting RN staff and providing bedside care to a general medical patient population.

The role includes vitals, blood glucose checks, hygiene assistance, mobility support and safety supervision, with on-the-job training and orientation. A high school diploma and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Required High School Diploma or equivalent
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Required within 90 days

Responsibilities

• Take vitals and monitor patient condition.
• Assist with daily care tasks such as bed baths, ambulation and wound care.
• Provide safety supervision and support to the care team.
• Perform basic nursing tasks under RN/provider supervision.
