Job summary

Pennock Hospital, part of Corewell Health, is seeking a Nursing Technician for the Med Surg Care Unit 2nd Floor in Hastings, MI. This is a full-time night-shift role offering 36 hours per week (7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.) with a rotating weekend schedule.

You will perform vitals, wound care, bed baths, catheterization, assistance with ambulation and safety duties under RN supervision, with potential postmortem care. Requires High School diploma and BLS certification (AHA/ARC acceptable).

Qualifications

• Required High School Diploma or equivalent.
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association 90 Days required or
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross 90 Days required

Responsibilities

• Taking vitals and monitoring patients.
• Wound care and bedside nursing tasks.
• Bed baths, toileting, and assistance with ambulation.
• Catheterization and safety attendant duties as needed.
• Postmortem care may be involved and documentation completed timely.
