Bluffton Regional, part of the Lutheran Health Network, is seeking an experienced Manager of Medical/Surgical to oversee the Med/Surg unit, ensuring high-quality patient care, staff engagement, and efficient operations. You will supervise nursing care delivery and drive initiatives to improve outcomes and satisfaction.

The role emphasizes collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, compliance with regulatory standards, and leadership development across the department.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required (state licensure/compact)','Bachelor’s degree preferred for leadership track
• 2–4 years of experience in related field
• 2–4 years of leadership experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Supervises nursing care delivery in Med/Surg.
• Leads quality improvement initiatives using data to improve patient safety and satisfaction.
• Develops tactical action plans to meet department and organizational goals.
• Facilitates interdisciplinary collaboration to optimize workflows and develop new programs.
• Monitors department metrics including patient outcomes and financial targets; takes corrective actions.
• Manages daily operations: staffing, scheduling, budgeting for efficient service.
• Performs case reviews, addresses patient concerns, resolves escalations.
• Maintains regular attendance and compliance with policies.
