Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Completion of a Nurse Assistant program is preferred or eligible for enrollment in nursing programs.
• Foreign trained RN who relocates to the US without a Michigan RN license may qualify.
• Medical Assistant training may be accepted.
• At least one year of NA/PCT/PAT experience is valued.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction and supervision of the RN, performs specific patient care duties to meet safety and comfort needs.
• Provides input to assist the RN in planning and implementing patient care.
• Responds to emergent situations according to established procedures.
• Recognizes and participates in continuing education.
• Follows Henry Ford Health System Team Member Standards of Excellence.
