Job summary

Baptist Health in Prattville is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for direct, bedside care on the Med/Surg unit, including weekend shifts. You will work under the supervision of the RN, administer medications, monitor patients, and report changes to the supervising nurse.

This role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to nursing standards, and patient-centered care. A current LPN license with BLS is required, along with a high school diploma and LPN program completion; strong computer skills

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Active LPN license and BLS required; ACLS/PALS/NRP may be required by department.
• Degree in Nursing or completion of LPN program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and monitor patient status under RN supervision.
• Report symptoms and changes to the RN promptly.
• Support employee health screenings and related duties as assigned.
• Maintain accurate nursing care documentation and records.
