Job summary

Premiere Healthcare Staffing seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for night shift assignments in Lewiston, Maine. This 12-week assignment offers weekly pay and partnerships with award-winning hospital networks across the nation.

Responsibilities include bedside care, vitals monitoring, IV therapy, and collaboration with RNs and physicians. LPN/LVN licensure, IV and BW certifications, and current BLS are required, with 6–12 months of Med Surg experience. Compensation is paid weekly.

Qualifications

• LPN/LVN licensure required.
• IV certification required.
• Blood withdrawal certification preferred.
• Current BLS at hire and maintained.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside patient care in a Med-Surg setting.
• Monitor vitals and patient status; identify changes.
• Assist with medications, IV therapy, and blood draws.
• Support care plans and patient throughput.
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and care teams.
• Ensure patient safety and infection control compliance.
• Document care in EMR/EHR systems.
• Communicate changes in condition promptly.
