Job summary

Southern Tennessee Regional Health System - Pulaski is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for Med Surg to join our night shift team. You will provide direct patient care under RN supervision and contribute to safe, compassionate care in a busy Med Surg unit.

Requirements include Tennessee LPN license, graduation from a Practical Nursing program, BLS may be required, and prior experience in medical-surgical settings is preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires critical thinking and decisive judgment with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under supervision per scope of practice.
• Assist in patient assessment and data collection for RN.
• Administer medications and document care as directed.
• Assist in development of the plan of care.
• Support activities of daily living and monitor patient status.
