Qualifications

• Associate degree in Nursing or Diploma in Nursing.
• BSN in progress or willing to acquire within three years of hire.
• Current and valid RN license to work at the assigned HMH location by date of hire.
• BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association within 60 days of hire.
• Six or more months of relevant nursing experience OR active Nurse Residency Program participation.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt, strong teamwork, accountability and ongoing education.
• National Certification in area of specialty preferred when eligible.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as part of the interdisciplinary team.
• Coordinate care with physicians and support services; delegate, validate and evaluate.
• Document nursing assessments, plans-of-care, interventions and outcomes.
• Discharge patients safely and coordinate transitions of care.
