Job summary

Haywood Regional Medical Center in Clyde, NC is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for the Med/Surg unit. This full-time position supports patient care on a 39-bed unit, collaborates with RNs, LPNs and CNAs, and follows a 3x12 schedule (7p-7a) with rotating weekends.

You will monitor vital signs, assist with activities of daily living, and report changes to the nursing team. A current NC CNA listing, BLS certification, and high school diploma are required.

Qualifications

• Current listing as Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with NC Division of Facility Services.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor vital signs; possibly take blood glucose and record intake/output.
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, eating, ambulation).
• Report abnormal findings or changes to nursing staff.
• Keep patient rooms and common areas stocked, clean and orderly.
