Job summary

Alta Hospital in Culver City seeks an experienced Telemetry Charge Nurse to lead the unit on assigned shifts. You will oversee patient care, allocate staff, and ensure cardiac monitoring and safety standards are met.

The role requires California RN licensure, BSN (preferred), and BLS/ACLS certifications, with leadership experience in acute care. Fluency in English and calm adaptability are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Active, current California RN license.
• Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing.
• AHA Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
• Strong English communication and composure in a dynamic setting.
• Leadership experience in a hospital unit.

Responsibilities

• Lead unit operations and staff assignments based on patient needs and staff skills.
• Provide supervision and coaching to RNs, LVNs, and CNAs on the shift.
• Administer and monitor medications and cardiac care per standards.
• Develop care plans with treating physicians and guide discharge planning.
• Collaborate with care teams to ensure high quality patient care.
