Qualifications

• CA RN license is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• Preferred: national specialty certification per Core Curriculum Pathway.
• Education: BSN/MSN or currently enrolled in RN-BSN program.
• Experience: minimum of two years RN experience in specialty area.

Responsibilities

• Primary clinical resource for staff on the unit.
• Mentor staff and represent unit leadership in nurse manager absence.
• Lead problem solving, decision making, and staff support.
• Coordinate care and collaboration with physicians and departments.
• Ensure staffing, orientation, and performance evaluations align with unit goals.
• Promote professional environment and maintain regulatory compliance.
