Job summary

Qualifications

• CA RN license
• BLS certification required
• BSN preferred or currently enrolled in RN-BSN program
• Minimum of two years RN experience in specialty area

Responsibilities

• Primary clinical resource for staff on the unit
• Mentor staff and represent unit leadership in managers' absence
• Manage staff and patient flow with assignments and transfers
• Ensure effective SBAR communication and rounding with physicians
• Coordinate care in high-risk situations and report unit issues
• Promote professional environment and adherence to regulatory standards
