Job summary

Piedmont Columbus Midtown is seeking an experienced registered nurse to deliver high-quality care across the patient lifecycle. You will coordinate care on your shift, provide hands-on nursing when census requires, and communicate effectively with leaders about patient and unit needs.

The role requires active Georgia RN licensure, BCLS, ACLS, and PALS, with additional certifications sought for specialty areas. A hospital setting experience is preferred for optimal contribution.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Georgia and multistate licensure requirements.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
• 1 year of nursing experience in a hospital setting required; 2+ years preferred.
• Current BCLS, ACLS, PALS, and other specialty certifications mandated.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate delivery of nursing care for patients from birth through the lifecycle during the shift.
• Provide clinical care as needed when census demands.
• Communicate patient care, departmental issues, and staff concerns to the appropriate leader(s).
• Serve as resource for guidance and assistance to the staff.
