Job summary

Piedmont Columbus Midtown is hiring registered nurses to deliver high-quality patient care across the birth through the lifecycle spectrum. You’ll coordinate care, provide clinical nursing support as census needs require, and communicate effectively with leaders and staff.

Ideal candidates bring Georgia RN licensure, BCLS, ACLS and PALS certifications, and relevant specialty credentials. Orientation includes required certifications and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• RN license in Georgia state required
• BCLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• PALS certification required
• Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certification prior to independent chemotherapy administration required
• NRP by end of orientation period required
• AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring within 12 months required
• PEARS certification required
• ACLS and PALS required for ED and pediatric care
• Experienced ED nurses have 30 days to obtain PALS within 30 days

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the delivery of quality nursing care from birth through the lifecycle.
• Provide clinical care as needed to meet census demands.
• Communicate patient care and staff concerns to leadership.
• Serve as a resource and guide to staff on the unit.

Education

Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing
