The role emphasizes accuracy, timely committee routing, and coordination with hospital staff for delineations of privileges and surveys. A stable, values-driven team supports patient-centered post-acute care.

Qualifications

• CPCS or CPMSM preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Five years' experience in medical staff credentialing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process medical staff applications for multiple hospitals accurately and timely.
• Ensure applications flow through required committees.
• Maintain current credentialing documents with expiration dates.
• Maintain a database of credentialed medical staff and advanced practice professionals.
• Provide medical staff rosters and delineations of privileges to hospital staff.
• Participate in accreditation/regulatory surveys related to medical staff affairs.
• Maintain confidentiality of credentialing information and meetings.
