Job summary

Polygon is seeking a Medical Utility Operator in the United States for composite tube manufacturing. You will operate and maintain equipment, manage materials, and perform cleaning and maintenance per medical quality standards.

The role requires following detailed work instructions, recording data, labeling correctly, and ensuring regulatory compliance. You will collaborate with teams, meet KPIs, and support multiple areas as needed; shifts include 2nd or 3rd with 1st as possible.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and follow work instructions, traveler paperwork, and labeling requirements.
• Basic math and measurement skills are required.
• Experience using measuring tools is a plus.
• Strong communication and teamwork.
• Willingness to learn and support multiple areas as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor composite manufacturing equipment including chamfer, grinder, pad printing, and painting.
• Handle materials and labeling per traveler and lot controls.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet production schedules and ensure compliance.
• Complete logs, labels, and data entries for traceability.
• Inspect components for defects and escalate issues.
• Assist with inventory counts and Kanban restocking.
• Perform housekeeping and 5S duties; maintain safe workspace.
• Follow SOPs, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Monitor KPIs and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
