Polygon Company in Indiana is seeking a Medical Utility Operator to support manufacturing of composite tubes for medical applications. You will operate and maintain equipment, manage materials, and perform cleaning and maintenance per quality standards.

The role requires basic math, reading work instructions, and the ability to lift up to 35 pounds. You will join a team focused on safety, accuracy, and continuous improvement in a cleanroom-like environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent as required.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 desirable.
• Reading and understanding work instructions and labeling requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor composite manufacturing equipment (e.g., chamfer, grinder, pad printing, painting).
• Assist with handling raw materials and finished goods; label materials per traveler and lot control docs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet production schedules and regulatory standards.
• Accurately complete logs, labels, and data entries for traceability and process control.
• Inspect components for visual defects and escalate issues to leads or quality personnel.
• Support inventory counts, Kanban restocking, and supplies organization.
• Perform 5S housekeeping and maintain a safe, clean workspace.
• Follow SOPs, work instructions, and PPE/chemical handling protocols.
