Job summary

Harris Health in Houston is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician to perform moderate and high complexity tests on clinical specimens across laboratory sections. You will validate results, perform quality control, and maintain instrument function as well as supply stocks, supporting ongoing education and patient safety.

Education in Medical Technology or related science is required, with ASCP/NCA/AMT certification expected within one year of hire.

Qualifications

• Education/Specialized Training/Licensure required: Associate Degree/Medical Technology/Clinical Laboratory Science or related science.
• Recent Graduate must be certified by ASCP or equivalent within one year of graduation.

Minimum Qualifications

Education/Specialized Training/Licensure: Associate Degree/ Medical Technology/Clinical Laboratory Science or related science Biology, Chemistry, or Physics/Certification Medical Lab Technician from ASCP, NCA or AMT within one year of hire.

Work Experience: Recent Graduate must be certified by ASCP or equivalent Board within one year of graduation.

Equipment Operated: PC, printers, scanners.
