Mid-Valley Hospital is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician to perform routine laboratory testing and venipuncture across bench areas. The role includes rotating shifts, training students, and maintaining quality control while delivering accurate results.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in medical laboratory technology or closely related field.
• ASCP licensure or eligibility within one year of hire.
• Proven skills in performing routine lab tests and operating LIS systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine laboratory testing across bench areas and rotate as assigned.
• Carry out venipunctures and capillary sticks when required.
• Provide accurate results and report within established guidelines.
• Participate in training of students and new staff and support proficiency testing and quality control.
• Operate LIS and other computer systems and maintain documentation.
