Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Medication Aide/Med Tech in New Jersey to ensure residents receive medications safely and with dignity. You will administer meds, maintain accurate MAR/TAR records, observe residents, and report changes promptly while upholding infection control standards.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, Medication Administration certification, CPR and First Aid certifications, and prior senior care experience is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration.
• Document in MAR/TAR accurately and in real time.
• Observe residents during and after medication passes.
• Monitor symptoms and administer medications as ordered for symptom relief.
• Report refusals or concerns promptly.
• Complete narcotic counts per policy.
• Maintain clean, organized medication carts and rooms.
• Follow infection control and safety standards.

You play a critical role in preventing medication errors, identifying health changes early, and protecting resident safety through attention to detail and regulatory compliance.

What We’re Looking For:

• High School Diploma/GED; age 18+
• Medication Administration certification
• CPR and First Aid certification
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Senior care experience preferred

Pay Range: 19.65 - 24.65
