Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Medication Aide/Med Tech in Westminster, CO to administer medications safely and with dignity. You will follow physician orders, document in MAR/TAR, and monitor residents during and after passes, ensuring timely symptom relief and accurate recordkeeping.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, medication administration certification, CPR/First Aid, and strong communication skills; senior care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• CPR and First Aid certifications are required.
• Strong documentation and communication skills; senior care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration.
• Document in MAR/TAR accurately and in real time.
• Observe residents during and after medication passes.
• Monitor symptoms and administer medications as ordered for symptom relief.
• Report refusals or concerns promptly.
• Complete narcotic counts per policy.
• Maintain clean, organized medication carts and rooms.
• Follow infection control and safety standards.
