Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency is seeking a dedicated Medication Aide/Med Tech to administer medications and treatments to residents safely and with dignity.

You will follow physician orders, document in MAR/TAR in real time, monitor residents post-dose, and maintain secure medication carts, while upholding infection control standards.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, CPR/First Aid, strong documentation and communication skills, and preferred experience in senior care.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments following physician orders and the Six Rights of Medication Administration.
• Document all medication activities in real-time within MAR/TAR systems.
• Observe residents during and after medication passes, monitor symptoms, and respond to concerns promptly.
• Complete narcotic counts in accordance with policies and maintain organized medication carts and rooms.
• Follow infection control and safety standards to prevent errors and ensure resident safety.
• Report refusals, health changes, or concerns immediately.
