Job Overview

The Medication Care Manager is responsible for providing the highest quality care by administering medications and treatments safely and organized. Responsibilities include medication administration, documentation, and resident care, all aligned with Sunrise Senior Living’s mission to champion the quality of life for seniors, in compliance with relevant laws and policies.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Essential Duties

Supporting our Mission, Principles of Service, and Core Values, with a focus on respecting the sacred value of human life. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Medication Administration: Administer medications, review and document in electronic health records, ensure proper medication procedures, maintain confidentiality, report concerns, restock medication carts, and promote resident independence and dignity.
• Resident Care Communications: Notify RCD of concerns, participate in daily meetings, and contribute to individualized care plans.
• Risk Management & Safety: Ensure compliance with safety standards, report incidents, and practice infection control techniques.
• Training & Team Contribution: Participate in team activities, training, and engagement programs, attend meetings, and maintain required certifications.
