Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology seeks a Systems Administrator (MECM) to manage enterprise workstation and server configurations via MECM for INSCOM, ensuring security and compliance. The role supports OS deployments, application packaging, and imaging across the organization.

The ideal candidate has TS/SCI clearance, strong MECM and Windows administration skills, and an ability to automate tasks with PowerShell; travel may apply and on-site work at Fort Shafter is required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree (may be waived based on overall experience and qualifications).
• 7+ years of related experience; MECM or systems administration proficiency may waive experience.
• Experience supporting MECM with packaging, deployments and client health troubleshooting.
• Proficiency with Windows Server and Windows OS configuration, installation, and patching via MECM.
• Ability to assist with workstation imaging, OS deployments, and automated application distribution.
• Knowledge of Active Directory administration: user/group management and OU updates.
• Basic PowerShell scripting for automating tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with building MECM application packages and deploying them to servers and workstations.
• Support installation, configuration, and patching of applications and Windows OS using MECM.
• Help create and maintain standardized workstation images and imaging for new system builds.
• Maintain automated application deployment packages and troubleshoot software distribution issues.
• Develop or modify installation scripts with guidance from senior team members.
• Support OS deployments and updates across supported workstations.
• Assist with COTS/GOTS software configuration within the enterprise environment.
• Provide user support and escalate issues appropriately across Tier 1 and Tier 2.
• Help maintain server STIG compliance and coordinate with IA teams on findings.
• Perform routine Active Directory tasks including user and group updates and OU management in support of MECM functions.
