Job summary

KLA, based in Milpitas, California, is seeking a Precision Stage ATE for US Operations’ New Products Team. The role involves hands-on assembly, testing, troubleshooting and resolving issues related to manufacturing reticle stages for KLA’s newest inspection systems.

You will support continuous improvement to reduce costs and cycle-time, interpret drawings, set up and calibrate test equipment, and collaborate across functions.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or equivalent experience with minimum of 4 years proven manufacturing knowledge of precision mechatronics assemblies, or closely related work.
• Strong problem solving & analytical skills to resolve technical challenges in manufacturing.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings/procedures and use a variety of precision test & measurement equipment.
• Previous hands-on experience with semiconductor equipment, especially with precision motion control, optical-mechanical alignment, and system-level integration.
• Must have good interpersonal skills and work in a collaborative manner.

Responsibilities

• Performs manufacturing of mechatronic sub-assemblies and/or systems supporting precision reticle stages.
• Assists in the set-up, alignment, & calibration of sophisticated test equipment and processes.
• Assists in improving manufacturing processes!
• Ability to interpret technical drawings/procedures and use a variety of precision test & measurement equipment
• Previous hands‑on experience with semiconductor equipment, especially with precision motion control, optical‑mechanical alignment, and system‑level integration
• Strong problem solving & analytical skills to resolve technical challenges in manufacturing
• Ability to update documents for a repeatable Manufacturing Process
• Must have good interpersonal skills and work in a collaborative manner
