Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is seeking a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to support the Operations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems across the building. You will install, maintain and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment, and mentor junior technicians to grow in their roles.

The role requires a high school diploma, 2+ years in MHE repair and predictive/preventive maintenance, and experience with conveyors,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience repairing material handling equipment.
• 2+ years of experience conducting predictive and preventative maintenance.
• Associates or higher degree in Mechanical or Electrical field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience with automated conveyor systems and controls.
• 1+ years of blueprint reading.
• 1+ year knowledge of electrical principles.
• Experience with CMMS and safety standards.
• Experience with robotic or electromechanical operation and maintenance.
• Able to troubleshoot basic input and output functions.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain material handling equipment and pneumatic systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to MHE.
• Install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment.
• Mentor junior technicians and promote a safe working environment.
• Move up to 49 lbs and work shifts up to 12 hours; up to 20% travel.
